Modeled by Blair Hope McSorley & photographed by Oye Diran, these hand made treasures complete the custom look. Gerber daisies, are my favorite because of the vast array of beautiful & bold color they can be found in. Hair flowers are not only lovely, they are a great accessory for the gals that don’t have time for the muss & fuss over pin curls and finger waves.

“City Street Chic” photo shoot with Blair Hope McSorley. This picture was taken by Oye Diran in New York City on the corner of St. Marks Place & 2nd ave. Blair is wearing a Housewives On Fire custom Gatsby dress. This dress is made from a pale blue vintage vanity fair slip, trimmed from head to toe in over 25 yards of fringe. I was torn between showing this as an avant garde wedding dress but ended up styling it as a night out in NYC party dress. Black stilettos with a bundle of pop colored gerber daisy hair clips did just the trick!

Rebel Night jiver Katie Bickert is wearing a Housewives On Fire signature circle skirt. Many full skirts call themselves swing skirts or circle skirts but are often impostors, whom are cut square & gathered into the waist line. My skirts are constructed using old fashioned draping techniques that are necessary to reproduce this classic style. The tummy is smooth while the hemline swings.
